The short version

• Your boards, saved roles and application pipeline never leave your phone. Everything is stored only on your device.
• No account. No sign-up. No advertising ID. No analytics SDK.
• No scraping. Ever. The app reads only the job feeds that employers themselves publish publicly. If a company doesn't publish a public feed, Jobrill doesn't go around it.
• Job ads you paste are processed, not stored. When you build an AI brief, the pasted text is sent to our processing endpoint, the structured summary comes back, and the text is discarded — nothing is saved, logged or shared.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you create — followed boards, cached roles from public feeds, saved roles, application stages, notes, reminders, settings — is written to private files in your device's app storage. It is not synced anywhere, because there is no server to sync it to. Deleting the app deletes the data; "Delete all data" in Settings does the same from inside.

What leaves the device, and when

Two things, both only when you choose:

• Requests to public job feeds. The app fetches the public job listings each followed employer publishes (currently Greenhouse boards). These requests contain no information about you — no account, no identifier, no location.
• A pasted job ad, when you build an AI brief. The text (up to 12,000 characters) is sent over HTTPS to our processing endpoint (a Cloudflare Pages Function at jobrill-api.pages.dev), forwarded to an AI model for reading, and the structured summary comes back. The text is held in memory for the duration of that single request and then discarded — it is not written to disk, not logged, and not used to train anything.

The AI provider processes the pasted text solely to return the summary. We do not send your name, contacts, location, or any account identifier with it — because we do not have any of those things.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, sell or share personal data — we hold none.
• We do not show advertising or track you across apps.
• We do not log into any service, and we never ask for credentials of any kind.
• We do not scrape LinkedIn, Indeed, or any service that does not publish a public feed.
• We do not apply to jobs on your behalf — every application is yours; the tracker only remembers where you are.
• We do not use cookies on this site.

Salary information

Salary ranges are shown exactly as the employer publishes them, and never inferred. Where an employer publishes no range, Jobrill shows "not disclosed". The AI brief follows the same rule: if the ad doesn't print a number, the brief says so.

Notifications

The daily digest and follow-up reminders are generated on your device and delivered by Android. Their content never passes through our servers.

Payments

Jobrill Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we never see your payment instrument. Google's handling of purchase data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you hold it completely: export your pipeline to CSV from Settings, or delete everything with one tap. If you contact us about anything in this policy, we will answer — but we will never ask you to send us your data files.
